La Rocca di Dozza è lieta di invitarti all'inaugurazione della mostra 'REBIRTH' dell'artista Robert Hromec a cura di Letizia Rostagno.\n\n'Mi piace costruire le mie i mmagini utilizzando una varietà di tecniche mescolate con la stampa. Quest o sovrapporsi e stratificare porta molte sorprese. Le figure umane sono il focus del mio lavoro. Le posiziono in interazione tra loro così come all' interno di se stesse e del mondo circostante. Attraverso l'esplorazione de lla texture e del corpo umano\, cerco di rendere visibile un equilibrio di namico tra il mondano e l'ultraterreno\, rappresentato da una continuità c he abbraccia l'essere umano\, il mondo e lo spirito.'\nRobert Hromec\n\nUn isciti a noi per un'inaugurazione emozionante alla presenza dell'artista R obert Hromec: sabato 16 marzo 2024 alle ore 16 presso la Rocca di Dozza (B O). \;Per l'occasione la pianista \;Eva Varhaníková \;si esibi rà in un breve programma dedicato ai compositori slovacchi.\nMostra 'REBIR TH' a cura di Letizia Rostagno\nL’opera di Robert Hromec si muove fluida t ra dentro e fuori e viceversa\, aperta e chiusa nello stesso tempo\, curio sa e desiderosa di abbracciare la complessità e la varietà del vivere\, su tutti i livelli nei quali si dispiega. Livelli resi sia fisicamente\, con la sovrapposizione di diversi materiali\, che espressivamente con l’utili zzo di diverse tecniche ma soprattutto di diversi linguaggi. I debiti con la storia dell’arte ci sono e sono tanti\, come è normale che sia per un a rtista che si sia formato \;come lui\, ma tutto è filtrato dalla sua p ersonalissima sensibilità. Una tecnica altrettanto personale contraddistin gue il suo fare artistico\, che propone lastre di \;alluminio utilizza te al posto della tela tradizionale e che\, con le caratteristiche del met allo\, gli consente di aggiungere profondità alla pittura\, creando rifles sioni\, illusioni ottiche e portando luce all’interno. Su questo materiale l’artista interviene lavorandolo con trapano e mandrino\, con graffi\, in cisioni\, forature\, sabbiature per ottenerne effetti di luce e di materic ità diversi. In strati successivi interviene con colori acrilici\, ad olio \, paste e tecniche di stampa. La produzione di queste \;opere è tecni camente (oltre che fisicamente) molto impegnativa\, a causa di trattamenti molto precisi e delle dimensioni delle lastre che sono mediamente 100 x 1 00 cm. Il percorso di mostra si apre con il ciclo delle ultime opere\, int itolate “Rinascita”. Volutamente presentate in apertura della mostra\, son o l’esito ultimo ma non finale\, del percorso umano e artistico di Hromec. Da queste opere si parte per un viaggio ad anello nelle stanze successive che non sono solo una retrospettiva sul lavoro artistico di Robert\, ma a nche la spirale mai conclusa dell’esperienza umana del vivere. E come nei “flash-back” cinematrografici\, le stanze successive ripercorrono i passi che hanno portato a questi esiti.\nL'inaugurazione di sabato 16 marzo 2024 è ad ingresso libero fino ad esaurimento posti. The Rocca di Dozza is pleased to invite you to the op ening of the exhibition 'REBIRTH' by artist Robert Hromec \;curated by Letizia Rostagno.\n\n'I like to build my images by using a variety of tec hniques mixed with printmaking. This overlapping and layering brings many surprises. Human figures are the focus of my work. I place them in interac tion with each other as well as within themselves and the surrounding worl d. Through the exploration of texture and the human body\, I attempt to ma ke visible a dynamic equilibrium between the worldly and the otherworldly\ , represented by a continuity that embraces the human being\, the world\, and the spirit.'\nRobert Hromec\n\nJoin us for an exciting opening in the presence of the artist Robert Hromec: Saturday\, March 16\, 2024\, at 4:00 PM at the Rocca di Dozza (BO). \;For the occasion\, pianist Eva Varha níková will perform a short program dedicated to Slovak composers.\nExhibi tion 'REBIRTH' curated by Letizia Rostagno\nThe work of Robert Hromec flui dly moves between the inside and outside and vice versa\, open and closed at the same time\, curious and eager to embrace the complexity and variety of life\, on all the levels on which it unfolds. Levels are rendered both physically\, through the overlay of different materials\, and expressivel y with the use of different techniques but above all\, different languages . There are many \;debts to the history of art\, as is normal for an a rtist who has been \;trained artist like him\, but all filtered throug h \;the artist's very personal sensitivity. An equally personal techni que distinguishes his artistic work\, using aluminum plates instead of the traditional canvas which\, due to the peculiarities of metal\, allows him to add depth to the painting\, create reflections\, optical illusions and bringing light. The artist intervenes on this material by working it with a drill and mandrel\, with scratches\, engravings\, drillings\, sandblast ing to obtain different effects of light and materiality. In successive la yers he intervenes with acrylic and oil colours\, pastes and printing tech niques. The production of these works is technically (as well as physicall y) very demanding\, due to very precise treatments and to the dimensions o f the slabs which are on average 100 x 100 cm. The latest works are those that open the exhibition path\, entitled 'Rebirth'. Deliberately presented at the beginning of the \;exhibition\, they are ultimate but not fina l outcome of Hromec's human and artistic journey. From these works\, one s tarts a circular journey through the following rooms that are not just a r etrospective on Robert's artistic work\, but also the never-ending spiral of the human experience of living. And as in cinematic \;'flash-backs' \, the following rooms retrace the steps that led to these outcomes.\nThe opening on Saturday\, March 16\, 2024\, is free admission until seats are filled.
